Former TV (Doordarshan) & All India Radio (akaswani Delhi) artist Amjad was Adjunct music faculty, Penn State University, PA. USA. Amjad was a disciple of India's renowned musician Pt. Prof. N. V. Pattwardhan (Gwalior gharana) for more then ten years. He did "Bachelor, Master and Master of Philosophy in Classical Music" from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda and Delhi University in India. He has been conducting music workshops, Music Class and performing concerts throughout India, United Kingdom, Germany, Bangladesh, Canada and the United States. Amjad had a opportunity to work with Music Director Pt. Vijay Raghav Rao, Salil Choudhary, Azad Rahman etc. and sung for Akasbani, New Delhi, India. Heeya-Amjad (husband & wife) teamed up to perform music together (Photo Album) on occasions, such as Conventions, Fund Raising, Anniversaries etc. They perform Classical, semi classical, Ghazal, Devotional and Modern, including film songs and many other styles as needed accompanied by a group of Professional musicians
